On the Prowl

This Is a very nice piece.
Even though I've had my membership for so long i've never brought myself to write a critique, So I hope you don't take anything offensivly.
Lets start with the cat. It's nicly proportioned to begin with, the only flaws I noticed were small. The tail is a little too thin and the claws on the front thumbs should shown at all times becuase they are not able to retract like the others. Not only that, If all the front claws are retracted, the tips should still be visable through the fur.
Now.. The background.
I must Say it takes away from the rest of the picture, the cat is beautifully drawn, but the backgound does not seem like it has alot of effort put into it, theres no detail, and hardly any shading, I could easily not even recognize that as a rock ^^' My suggestion for future art that relates to this sort, is to put extra effort into the background, It will really help bring out the piece. Add rocks and bumps, crevices, and things that will make it stand out.
Theres not much more I can say about this other than the fac that I like It and it turned out great ^^ Please take no offecnce to my crit and I hope you take use of my words
